Be it the commonly city occurring Indian Grey Hornbill, or the Malabar Grey Hornbill found in the Western Ghats. The Malabar Pied and the Oriental Pied Hornbill are two more of star species in this family. But the real attraction is the Great Hornbill, the heaviest flying bird in India after the Great Indian Bustard and the Himalayan Vulture. But their most attractive feature is their appearance. The Rufous-necked Hornbill is another stand out member of the Hornbill family and many around the world visit the North-eastern part of the country seeking this bird.
