Satpura National Park

Situated in the central state of Madhya Pradesh, Satpura National Park is spread over the Satpura Hills in the highlands of Central India. With very rich biodiversity, Satpura is a part of Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve and covers an area of 524 sq.km. The flora of the national park includes many medicinal plants, and a wide variety of mammals and bird species. It is planned to relocate barasinghas (southern swamp deer) here from Kanha National Park.
